Greetings!
We hope your resurrection Sunday celebrations were filled with the fullest joy last week. As you continue to live in the reality of our risen savior, we invite you to join us in celebrating again today as it is Easter Sunday in the Romanian church according to the Orthodox calendar. We consider it a blessing to continue to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus along with our friends across the world.
Around 81% or Romanians identify as Orthodox, greatly impacting the culture as well as the calendar. Today, Andy and friends are in Romania with local RTC churches to celebrate Jesus together. RTC has been a part of planting and walking with 15 churches in Romania and already has another on the way! Each of these special congregations are on our hearts today as they live in the new life God has given.
Later this week, several board members, RTC staff, and friends will be joining Andy for a week of outreach, connection and encouragement. This group will be visiting Ukrainian refugees, conducting dental clinics, and working in Gypsy villages as well as visiting our Romanian homes, churches, and partner organizations. Pray they will be given wisdom and hope to share as they encounter many in need.
