What a week we had in Orlando, Florida at the Exponential 2023 Conference. This annual conference is a gathering for those desiring to see our world transformed through the planting of new churches.
Remember the Children has been involved in church planting in Romania and Tanzania for several years now. This year, two colleagues from Romania, Adi Galiger and Marius Ban, along with their wives Flori and Lidia, joined Andy and Gerri Baker for this amazing three day event. The challenge for the week was evangelism, and we were exposed to an amazing line up of encouraging speakers and informative workshops to better equip us as leaders. We were also blessed with daily worship and prayer times, which proved to be the most meaningful times for all of us.
Each evening we spent our dinner time discussing what impacted us that day, and what were our personal "take-aways" that we believed we needed to spend time developing in our lives. All of us left this event different than when we arrived, and discussions have begun on how we can take what we learned to impact the church of Romania.
We are grateful to our friends who helped provide the resources for this time together. It is good to have a break from the day to day activities. Through this time away, and through this time sharing multiple days of learning together, we know without a doubt that we are better equipped to move forward with a ministry vision that will truly be transformative to the people we serve and train.
